My name is Lisa and I’m a Georgia native.
“Lisa’s a confusing one. When you look at her, she looks like…well, your guess is about as good as everyone else’s. She communicates through her clothing. Her mood, state of being, state of life, and inspirations are all perfectly displayed through what she’s wearing. Right off the bat you’ll most likely wonder what nationality she is and where in the world she comes from. You’ll think that she isn’t from around town. And then when she opens her mouth, you’ll realize that she’s just a small town girl. She’s a walking contradiction. Her taste in music is pretty confusing too. She’ll sleep to Radiohead, work to Ludovico Einaudi, drive to country music, worship to Hillsong, and rap to her favorite 90s jams. Seeing her do all of these things will make you wonder what it’s like to have her mind for a day. Oh, and she cries about anything that moves her. Her happy tears are pretty hilarious. Think rabbit walrus. It’s real. If she doesn’t like how a word is spelled, she’ll spell it her way. That’s Lisa though.
She’s non-stop, a full force. Her love’s like that too, unwavering.
If I could sum up Lisa in a sentence it’d be this: “Lisa just is.”
Why Ordinary Lisa?
I started Ordinary Lisa as a way to document my life while in college. Since then it has flourished into so much more. OL challenges me to share the good in every situation, in every passion that I have, in all of my fleeting moments. You’ll see me share my love for travel, style, photography, life, and people. I’ll speak a lot about lessons I’ve learned along the way and the many dreams that I have. Feel free to contribute your thoughts, experiences, and suggestions. Nothing would make me happier.
Ordinary Lisa is NOT
Ordinary Lisa is not an outlet for me to tell you how to live, what to wear, how to be, or who to be. You are uniquely you. You are perfect just the way you are. If anything, I hope this blog inspires you to realize how great your moments are no matter how ordinary they may seem. And I hope with all of me that you share them.
